This half-term, we are learning how to play football with Sheffield United Community Foundation. Although it was wet and miserable outside, we weren’t going to let the rain spoil our fun.

We learnt how to dribble the ball around each other, stop the ball from rolling away with our foot and how to do toe taps. By the end of the session, we were able to run much faster with the ball, being able to keep it under control. We can’t wait for next week’s session, fingers crossed that the sun will shine for us!

Don’t forget that PE is every Friday and this half-term, you will need a suitable outdoor PE kit.

  1. World class athletes don’t mind a little rain and neither did Pearl Class.
It was lovely to hear all about your afternoon and how you had been practising your skills out on the MUGA.
Maybe I could come and try to dribble a ball or do a toe tap next week?
