Moving to Year 3

Over the past few weeks, we have been having a taster of what it is going to be like in Y3. We are moving up into Aquamarine Class in Y3 and our new teacher is Miss Croxall. Our new teaching assistant is going to be Miss Beckingham.

Lots of things are going to be different next year. We will have a different classroom, a different cloakroom to put our things away in and different toilets to use but most of all, we have to go up some stairs to get to our new classroom.

We are very excited to becoming Y3s but we will miss Miss Varley and Miss Morris.

The final piece of homework given is to be completed over the holidays. Can you do any of the things on the list below? Send some photographs and a message to Miss Croxall to let her know all of the fun things that get up to in the holidays.

They could be:

• Ride a bike in the sunshine
• Visit the seaside and look at how it different to Manor Top
• Go in the garden on a bug hunt.
• Visit the library and take part in the Summer Reading Challenge. Click here for more information.
• Eat an ice cream with your friends
• Have a sleepover
• Eat a picnic in the park
