Check out our lovely Christmas cards this year! We loved making them.
Christmas is such a busy time of year at school and this year has been no exception.
We kicked off our celebrations with our annual FS and KS1 Christmas workshop. It was fabulous to see so many parents and carers coming to join in with us and get into the festive spirit. Thank you to everybody who came.
Next we were treated to a special performance of Aladdin after one of our brilliant Y6 children won a competition. We loved Aladdin!
Then it was time for us to put on a performance of our own in our nativity.
In the midst of all of the performances, we got busy with some Christmas crafts and activities. Our first job was to create a puppet and we used our sewing skills to sew the two pieces of materials together.
We love our finished designs, what do you think?
We set to work to make Christmas cards for our loved ones.
Our final activity was to create a calendar for 2020.
Before we broke up for the holidays, we had time for a Christmas party and disco!
A special visitor even had the time to pop into school and say hello!
We would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
See you back at school on Monday 6th January 2020.
Wow! What a busy December we have had at school…
It all started with a trip to the Pantomime to watch Treasure Island. This was a special treat from the charity Variety. We had a party, and we even got to see Father Christmas and got a present from him! Thank you for letting us be part of this special day!
Next it was time for our FS and KS1 Christmas Craft morning – we had over 50 adults come and join us and get into the Christmassy spirit! Thank you to all the parents and carers to came to spend some time with us!

Finally it was time for our Christmas Party – we even managed to have a special visitor!
We hope that everyone has had a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to what the New Year has in store for us!
On Friday 9th March, FS and KS1 held a special assembly for our mummies, nannans, grandmas, aunties and sisters to show them just how special they are to us!
Every class sing a song and then our final song, we sang altogether. At the end of all of our singing, we got to go and see our adults to go and give them a special treat!
Thank you for all that you do for us! We love you all very much!
Pearl class would like to wish everyone a very happy Mother’s Day today! We hope that you are being spoilt and are having a truly relaxing day!

Thank you for the invite Variety.
Our grown ups were invited to come and spend the morning with us making some Christmas crafts. We really love it when our grown ups come into school and spend some time with us in the classroom. Thank you!
After weeks of practice, it was time for our Y2 Nativity Performance. We worked hard to learn the songs, rehearsed our lines and had a brilliant time putting on the nativity for our grown ups.
Here are just a few comments about what our grown ups thought…
In the last week before we broke up, it was Christmas Party and Disco afternoon. We had a wonderful time playing games, eating delicious party food and being with our friends.
On the last day of term, Santa took time out of his really busy schedule and paid us a visit! He left us a present which we can’t wait to use in the New Year.
Finally, we were very busy in the run up to Christmas, creating Christmas cards, using printing techniques to making calendars and sewing some snowmen puppets.
We have had a brilliant Autumn term in Y2 and we can’t wait to see what we will be learning about in the Spring.
We hope that you have all had a very merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year. See you all on Monday 8th January 2018.
Today we had our annual FS and KS1 Easter Workshop. We invited our grown ups into school to come and make some Easter crafts with us. Everyone had such a fabulous time.
Many thanks to our grown ups for your continued support and for coming to join in with us. It means such a lot to us and we really appreciate it.
We have also been busy tasting hot cross buns, making Easter cards for our loved ones and Easter baskets in hope that the Easter bunny would come to visit. He did and he left us a special treat! What did you get?
Happy Easter everyone!
