In addition to our trip to the English Institute of Sport for the Y2 Sports Day, it was also Sports Relief Week so this is how we celebrated as a school.
We had a non-uniform day where we could wear our own sports clothes to help raise some money.
In the afternoon, we had a staff vs children netball match. We sat on the grass on the outside of the MUGA pitch to cheer everyone on.
We had a marvellous time and raised £180 for Sports Relief. Thank you to all of our parents and carers for helping us to raise this money to help others less fortunate than ourselves.
This year, we are helping to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital and we have lots of events planned throughout the year to help us to raise the most money possible. This money will go and support poorly children and their families to help give them a better quality of life whilst they are in hospital.

Friday 6th October 2017 was our first fundraising event and we had a non-uniform day. Everyone came to school dressed in their brightest and boldest colours. By the end of Friday, school had raised an amazing £215. Thank you to all of our parents and carers for supporting such a worthwhile cause.
Keep your eyes peeled for letters coming home soon about more fundraising events and how you can support them.
