Pearl Class Superstars – Autumn 1 – Week 5

Another week done… another two of superstars!

One had an excellent attitude to his maths work all week. The other wrote a fabulous retelling of The Little Red Hen and even continued to write the story in her own time at home! #proud

Readers – Autumn 2 2019

A brilliant well done to our Green and Gold Readers for this half term. These children have handed in their reading record every week during the half term.

Reading is so important and should be done for at least 10 minutes every day. Any tips or advice, please see Miss Varley.

Remember reading records need to be handed in every Tuesday to Miss Varley.

  • 3-4 reads per week will get you a sticker
  • 5+ reads per week will get you a gold star sticker

Will you be a green or a gold reader for Spring 1 2020?

TASC: Lifecycle of a Butterfly

In science, we have been busy learning about lifecycles and we enjoyed it so much that Miss Varley set us a task and we used TASC to help us to do this.

Task: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding about the life cycle of a butterfly.

Here is what we did:

We were so proud of each other for the work that we had completed that we invited Onyx class to come and have a look as we know that they have been learning about life cycles as well.

We even displayed our work in the classroom for our adults to see in a morning when they came into the classroom.
